Law to Grace (Quality Sacrifice)

I love the grace the death and resurrection of Jesus brought us.

No more are we to offer animal sacrifices to wipe away our sins, show our gratitude, to atone for our misdeeds and clean our uncleanliness

A quick read of the book of Leviticus will explain just how much time, effort, precision, and obedience was dedicated into offering a sacrifice.

Now my point, even if the type of sacrifices we offer to God has been changed, God doesn’t need for the quality of the sacrifice to change.

Then only the high priest was allowed into the Holies of Holies, but not anymore, now we have so free an access it’s like driving down an express road in Abuja.

However, even if so many things are changed, God still requires that we give him our best as sacrifices, I’m talking giving 100% attention, 100% effort, and 100% obedience, we may not slaughter animals anymore but we forget that those sacrifices to an extent were more about Gods relationship with his people than the animals.

God is not looking for people to give him the rest of their time, obedience and effort. He’s looking to be given the best of your time, obedience and effort.

100% all the way!

The fact that we are not offering unblemished 8 day old lambs as thanksgiving offerings, doesn’t mean we can’t give sacrifices that are equally as worthy.
